WHO IS SHANE TRIMBY
Shane Trimby has had over twenty years experience of owning his own business’s.
Shane, so far has sold over 320 properties in the Cairns, Redlynch and Brinsmead
area. Shane Trimby is an award winning agent at Cairns Property Office and has worked
with the company for over 8 years. He has close to One Hundred Million dollars worth
of property sales experience for you to draw on.
Shane attends Australian Real Estate Conference’s, national and international training
courses and numerous online training courses. This gives him a edge over other agents
in Cairns, through the knowledge gained from these training sources. Shane’s negotiating
skills are proven to get your property a higher price.
Shane has resided in Cairns since 1977, and was schooled at St Augustine's College.
Shane lives in Redlynch Valley with his wife & 3 children.
In 1980 Shane embarked on a career as a licensed plumber, working on such buildings
as The Aquarius, Pacific, Hilton, Cairns Base Hospital and hundreds of houses in
and around the Cairns environs.
Shane owned several of his own businesses in Cairns for over the last twenty years.
During the 1990’s Shane owned and operated six restaurants and two takeaways, and
employed over forty staff. In 1999, Shane ran in the local Cairns City Council elections,
although not winning, he gained 23% of the vote in Division 7.
From 1995 until 2002, Shane was the Chairperson of the Cairns Venue Managers Association,
which was instrumental in the improvement of the safety of late night inner city
patrons.
Shane was a committee member on the Cairns Safety Action Committee for 7 years,
which was chaired by the Mayor.
